October 14, 2018 - Jim Bernheisel Lands Top 5 Finish in World Series of Dirt at Selinsgrove Speedway
Both Bryan and Jim Bernheisel invaded Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) on Friday night competing in the Super Late Model ranks for the World Series of Dirt. With 16 Super Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Bryan jumped up two spots in his heat to place 2nd behind Dave Brouse Jr. Jim passed three cars in his 12-lap heat reeling in a 3rd place finish. Earning the 6th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Jim gained two spots in the 40-lap affair notching a 4th place finish behind Dylan Yoder, Gene Knaub, and Coleby Frye with Jim Yoder coming in 5th. Bryan started the feature in 3rd but debris on the track caused mechanical issues forcing him to retire early.
