August 3, 2019 - Bernheisel Sweeps Selinsgrove Field for Second Win
1While it may have taken longer than he would’ve liked, Bryan Bernheisel topped the Super Late Model action at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday night in his Dieffenbach’s Kettle Chips No. 119 Pioneer Pole Buildings/ Lazer Chassis Super Late Model.

His first victory of the year at the ½-mile oval increased his overall 2019-win total to two.

"It's too late in the year for this to be my first win at Selinsgrove,” Bryan Bernheisel noted. We've been strong all year everywhere we go, but we haven't had the luck to go with it. Finally, things are clicking here late in the year. We definitely hope to keep it rolling."

On Saturday night Bernheisel Racing traveled to Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) with both Bryan and Jim competing in the Super Late Model ranks.

In a field of 21 entries, Bryan secured his spot into the main event with a heat race victory. Jim failed to make it out for his heat race due to mechanical issues and eventually retired early from the feature on lap 17 with more woes.

Starting the feature in the fourth position, Bryan enjoyed a much-more enjoyable outing than what his father experienced. He slipped ahead of Hayes Mattern in the closing laps to capture his second win of the season and a $2,500 payday. Donnie Schick, Coleby Frye, Ken Trevitz, and Hayes Mattern trailed him to the checkers in the 25-lap affair.
