Jim Bernheisel tops Greater Cumberland Raceway action

On Saturday night, Jim Bernheisel showed the Super Late Model field at the Greater Cumberland (Md.) Raceway that at 62-years-old, he’s still got it.

Driving the Denny Superko-owned No. 31 Lazer Chassis Super Late Model, Bernheisel stormed to his first victory of the season. The triumph marked win number seventy-six of Jim’s illustrious career. He’s now visited the winner’s circle at 18 different tracks across three states over the last five decades.

Bryan Bernheisel was also in action Saturday night the Greater Cumberland Raceway. Unfortunately, an engine failure during hot laps brought his night to an early end.
