Bernheisel falls two spots shy of transferring into Rumble by the River

After persistent rain and unfavorable forecast wiped out Friday night’s event, Bryan Bernheisel visited Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) on Saturday afternoon for the Rumble by the River. With 52 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for the $15,000-to-win finale, Bryan laid down the 14th fastest time in his qualifying group before placing fifth in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Bernheisel came two spots shy of a transfer position with a fifth place outing.
