10th-place finish in Frank Sagi Tribute at Hagerstown

On Saturday afternoon Jim Bernheisel invaded Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.) returning behind the wheel of the No. 171 Lazer Chassis house car for the Super Late Model 46er. With 31 cars entered, Bernheisel suffered a broken right-rear axle tube in his time trial session that brought an immediate end to his evening.

The following night at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.) for the Frank Sagi Tribute, Jim laid down the second fastest time in his group before placing second in his heat race. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in sixth, Bernheisel dropped four spots in the 30-lap affair to come in 10th.
