Pair of sixth-place finishes for Jim Bernheisel at Bedford and Selinsgrove

Jim Bernheisel returned to action on Friday evening at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) piloting the Lazer Chassis No. 171 house car. Clawing forward one spot in his heat race to finish third, Bernheisel locked into the sixth-starting position for the A-Main. After a pair of botched restarts, Jim held a steady momentum throughout the 25-lapper to place sixth.

On Sunday afternoon at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.), Jim jumped up one spot in his heat race to finish second behind Gene Knaub. With $3,000 on the line in the feature, Bernheisel dropped one spot to register a sixth-place finish.
