Bryan fifth in Bedford's season opener, Jim finishes 10th
Bryan Bernheisel returned to action over the weekend while his dad Jim made his first start of the season as Mother Nature allowed Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) to kick off their 2024 campaign.
With both driver’s moving forward in their respective heats, Bryan jumped up two spots to finish second while Jim charged forward from the fifth row to place fifth. Jim went onto place 10th in the feature while Bryan rallied after getting buried by the redraw with a seventh-to-fifth run in the 25-lap A-Main. He chased Jakob Piper, Tim Smith, Kyle Lee, and Drake Troutman to the checkers.
