Bryan notches podium finish in Gary Martz Tribute at Bedford

The 150th annual Bedford Fair Race brought Bryan and Jim Bernheisel to Bedford (PA) Speedway on Friday to compete for the $3,700 winner's payday.

With 21 cars entered for the event also honoring the late Gary Martz, Bryan improved one spot in his heat to take second while Jim rolled to a steady fourth-place finish in his heat. In the feature, Jim climbed to a seventh-place finish while Bryan recorded a third-place finish in the 25-lap affair. He joined race-winner Matt Sponaugle and Kyle Lee on the podium.

Bryan concluded the weekend with a stop at Hagerstown (MD) Speedway on Sunday but the dual features didn't go as planned. After getting caught behind a wreck in the first 20-lap A-Main, Bryan retired on the seventh circuit in the second feature.
