Bryan finishes 16th in LOLMDS Rumble by the River at Port Royal

Bryan Bernheisel entered his Uglies Kettle Chips No. 119 Late Model into battle with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series over the weekend for the two-day Rumble by the River at Port Royal (PA) Speedway.

Against a stout field of 50 Super Late Models, Bernheisel squeezed into Friday’s prelim with the final transfer spot in his consolation race. With a $10,000 preliminary payday up for grabs in the feature, Bryan was an early retiree on lap 31.

On Saturday, Bryan followed up a fourth-place heat outing with a consolation victory. Starting the $50,000-to-win Rumble by the River finale in 20th, Bernheisel gained ground to finish 16th in the 50-lap affair.
