Top-10's for Bryan and Jim in Labor Day Classic at Bedford Speedway

The Labor Day Classic at Bedford (PA) Speedway on Friday resulted in a pair of top-10 finishes for Bernheisel Racing pilots Bryan and Jim Bernheisel.

With the 40-car Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series sanctioned field split into two groups for time trials, Jim clocked in seventh-fastest in his group while Bryan claimed the overall Lindemuth Laser Etching Fast Time honors with a blistering 19.563-second lap. After both drivers raced into the $12,055-to-win A-Main via their heat race, Bryan rallied to a sixth-place finish after getting ran over by another competitor while running fifth. Jim climbed four positions in the 55-lap affair to place ninth.

Saturday's scheduled event at Port Royal (PA) Speedway fell victim to Mother Nature.
