October 7, 2017 - Bryan Outruns Dad at Williams Grove Speedway
1
On Friday evening both Bryan and Jim Bernheisel were in action at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania) competing in a field of 18 Super Late Models. Rolling off 5th in his heat, Jim landed a 2nd place finish while Bryan came from 5th-to-2nd in his heat. Receiving the 2nd-starting position for the feature after the redraw, Bryan outran his dad in the 25-lapper to capture his eighth win of the season over Jim, Gene Knaub, Tyler Horst, and Matt Nailor.

1The following night saw Bryan travel Susquehanna Speedway (Newberrytown, Pennsylvania) running in the 358 Steelhead Late Model ranks. Passing four cars in his heat, Bernheisel landed a 2nd place finish positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the A-Main. September 23, 2017 - Pair of Podium Finishes at Winchester Speedway
1
31 cars checked in to Winchester. We went out early for time trials which wasn't good because the track got quicker. Bryan still timed in 12th quick. After rolling off 3rd, he advanced to 2nd in the heat. He will roll off 8th in tomorrow's 30 lap feature.

In the feature Saturday at Winchester Bryan would put on a show. From his 8th starting spot he methodically worked his way to 2nd with only one caution. As the laps wound down he would begin to track down the leader, drawing within 2 car lengths as the white flag was waved. A last effort in turns 3 and 4 would come up just short and Bryan would settle for a solid 2nd place finish. Bryan remarked after the race that qualifying the night before was the difference between winning and second.

20 modifieds were in attendance at Winchester. Jim set 3rd quick time and finish 2nd in his heat. Rolling of 3rd in the feature Jim quickly made his way to 2nd. On a late restart he took a shot at the lead only to slip up just a little. He would settle for a solid 3rd place in only his 3rd start of the season.

We will be taking this weekend off. Both Bryan and Jim will be racing super late models at Williams Grove the following weekend for the run what you brung. We also plan for Bryan to race the run what you brung at Dog Hollow.

Earning the 2nd-starting position for the feature after the redraw, Bryan took over the lead on the second lap and held off the field in the remaining 18 circuits to capture sixth win of the season over Robbie Emory, Ryan Walls, Bob Dunn, and Brad McGinnis.

1The following night brought Bernheisel to Lincoln Speedway (Abbottstown, Pennsylvania) where he started the night off with a heat race victory from the 5th-starting position. Receiving the pole position for the feature, Bryan jumped in the lead on the opening lap and led from flag-to-flag registering his seventh win of the season.
